Why You Should Always Be Thinking About New Ads

“Hey! What’s new with you?”

That’s a pretty standard greeting when you catch up with someone, right?

Notice, we don’t ask, “Hey, what’s old?” or “Tell me what I already know.” We ask about what’s new because new is exciting, and that’s exactly why, as business owners, we can never get too comfortable.

Why Ad Fatigue is the REAL Problem

Social media is a fantastic tool for businesses. We’ve got easy access to our audience, a chance to go viral, and a platform to connect with our ideal customers whenever we need.

But, there’s a downside...

Attention spans are shrinking. We’re all dealing with the “TikTok brain” phenomenon. People—whether they want to or not—are getting used to digesting content in quick bursts. It’s all about that rapid-fire exposure to ads and information, and it’s relentless.

We’ve got to adapt to that. How?

Don't worry, I’m not suggesting you start doing TikTok dances (unless you want to).

How to Keep Your Audience Interested

The key isn’t just trimming down your content into bite-sized chunks—it’s giving your audience variety.

Don’t settle for one video, give them 10. Don’t just send out one article, offer them 100. If you’ve got one ad running, consider launching three more. It’s all about offering a wide range of options so that when your audience is interested, they’ve got enough to dive into.

If your prospects are really interested in what you’re offering, they’ll explore. But you have to give them enough material to make it worth their time. Think of it like a buffet, not a single plate. The more you offer, the more likely they’ll find something that catches their attention.

So, if you’re running just one ad right now, it’s time to mix it up. Add a few more into the rotation. If you’re retargeting with one video, bump it up to five or ten different ones.

Get out there and make it happen. You’ve got this.
