Get More Sales by Leveling Up Your Writing

Good writing is hands down one of the best ways to grab attention, bring in more clients, grow your business, and stand out from the crowd. It shows people you know your stuff and gives you a massive edge over the competition.

Being a strong writer? That’s basically a superpower.

But here’s the kicker:

Most writing out there? It’s just plain bad. It’s boring, stiff, rambles on forever, and is sleep inducing.

And it’s not just in one place—it’s a universal problem. Doesn’t matter what country you’re in or what language you speak. The struggle is real.

Why is this happening? Plenty of reasons—school didn’t teach us properly, writing isn’t the same as speaking, and most people just haven’t picked up on the tricks that can make their words pop.

But honestly, the “why” isn’t important. What matters most is the “how.”

How to Fix Bad Writing Once and For All

In this series, I’m going to give you the tips and tricks I use to write everything from articles to video scripts, blog posts to tweets, and more. And don’t worry, it won’t be boring.

I don’t care about throwing around terms like "intransitive verbs" or "demonstrative pronouns"—we’ll leave that to the English majors.

What we’re focusing on here is writing that sells. Let’s dive in:

The Quickest Way to Get People to Actually Read What You Write

Step one: You’ve got to pull people in and make them want to read what you’ve written.

Think about it—your article could be the best thing ever, but if they bail before getting to the good stuff, what’s the point?

Picture a newspaper. Dense, tiny lines crammed together. You look at it and your brain says, “Do we really have to trudge through all that?”

Now, look at what you’re reading right here.

Feels a lot more manageable, right?

That’s because I’m making it easy for you. Short paragraphs, clear sentences, no heavy jargon or endless walls of text.

Short Form vs. Long Form Content

So, does that mean everything should be bite-sized? Simple enough for a toddler on caffeine?

Nope.

But you do need to be thoughtful about how you structure your content. Whether it’s video, audio, or text—it all has to be engaging and easy to follow.

That’s just the beginning. More to come soon.
